Terms and Conditions of Service
These terms apply to your use of the Calamansi website and your purchases of physical goods from us. Last updated for Hong Kong customers.
Operator
Calamansi is a trade name of Black Honey Limited. The website and online shop described in these terms are operated under that trade name. Unless the context requires otherwise, references to "Calamansi", "we", "us", or "our" mean Black Honey Limited acting through the Calamansi shop.
We sell our own catalogue of physical goods (including home & living, music media, and gifts). We are a single-brand retailer, not a marketplace. Your contract to buy products is with Black Honey Limited trading as Calamansi.
1. Scope of service
Jurisdiction: Calamansi sells and delivers within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region unless we state otherwise on a product page.
Who may shop: You must be able to enter into a binding contract under Hong Kong law. If you are under 18, you may only use this site with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
Product information: We describe items as accurately as we can (including photos, dimensions, materials, and formats such as vinyl or CD). Minor packaging or batch differences may occur. Please check product pages for care instructions and specifications before ordering.
2. Orders, pricing, and availability
Placing an order: When you complete checkout and pay via Stripe, you make an offer to purchase the items in your cart. We accept your order when we confirm payment and send an order confirmation email (or when we begin processing the order, if no separate email is sent).
Prices: Prices are shown in Hong Kong dollars (HKD) and include any taxes we are required to collect at checkout, unless stated otherwise. Shipping fees are shown before you pay.
Stock: If an item is out of stock or we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and offer a refund for the affected items or the full order, as appropriate.
Errors: We may correct pricing or listing errors and cancel or refund orders affected by manifest mistakes, even after payment.
3. Payment
Stripe Checkout: Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
When you pay: Payment is taken at checkout for the product subtotal plus applicable shipping. Your order is not confirmed until payment succeeds.
Title and risk: Title to goods passes to you on delivery. Risk passes when the goods are handed to you or left at the delivery address you provided, in line with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
4. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Change of mind: Because we sell physical goods (including homeware and sealed media), we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind unless required by law or we agree otherwise in writing.
Damaged or wrong items: If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order reference and photos. We will review and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund.
Music media: Opened vinyl, CDs, or other sealed media cannot be returned unless faulty.
5. Delivery
Delivery terms, fees, timing, and surcharges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your details: You are responsible for a correct email, phone number, and delivery address at checkout. We are not liable for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect details you supplied.
Outside Hong Kong: Checkout covers Hong Kong delivery only. For other destinations, email [email protected] for a separate shipping quote — see our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with checkout or payment systems.
- Do not resell products in a way that misrepresents Calamansi or breaches applicable laws.
7. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather (for example Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning), government restrictions, supplier disruption, or courier suspension.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
